Seeing you GP during Alert Level 1

New Zealanders have worked hard to manage the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak. In order to keep yourself, your whanau and our medical staff safe during these uncertain times, we will continue to operate as below until further notice.

We will move to COVID-19 Alert Level 1 from Thursday 8th October.

Seeing your GP during Alert Level 1:

  • Phone and face to face consultations are available. Please inform reception or comment on your appointment booking what type of consultation you want. Normal charges apply.

  • All face to face consultations will be asked routine COVID-19 screening questions - please answer truthfully. We can still see you for a face to face consultation except we may need to see you in a different consultation room if you have any respiratory symptoms.

  • If you have booked a phone consult, the doctor will call you around your booked appointment time - please have your phone near by, you do not need to call us.

  • CALL US FIRST if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, runny/blocked nose, shortness of breath or decreased sense of smell.

  • All patients who need to come into our clinic are to wait in their cars. Please call reception on 09 528 3323 to inform us that you have arrived.

  • We are doing COVID-19 testing. Please call reception if you want to arrange this.

  • Please do not arrive at our medical centre without notice. Instead, please call reception or book an appointment online.

  • Please wear a mask when you come into our clinic, even if you do not have any respiratory symptoms.

  • We are accepting new patients - please call reception to book an appointment.

  • We are still seeing our patients for immunisations, contraception, smears and all the usual medical concerns you would normally see your GP about. This includes long term medical conditions, repeat prescriptions, accident/injuries, ACC, wound care, acute medical problems and sexual health.

We appreciate all the hard work everyone is putting in to help control the COVID-19 outbreak and to continue to keep everyone safe!
